Today, you’ll be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Arusha Airport. From there, your journey continues to Tarangire National Park, a sprawling 2,850-square-kilometer haven of wildlife and natural beauty. Renowned for its incredible biodiversity, Tarangire is famous for its massive elephant herds, lions, leopards, buffalo, zebras, and a vibrant array of bird species.
Kick off your adventure with a morning game drive, exploring the park’s diverse landscapes from seasonal swamps to open savannas, all centered around the life-giving Tarangire River. After a delightful picnic lunch inside the park, continue your safari in the afternoon, spotting more wildlife and immersing yourself in the park’s stunning scenery.
As the day winds down, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for a relaxing dinner and an overnight stay, ready to recharge for another day of adventure.

Day 2

Today, you will be transferred to Serengeti National Park. You'll experience a good game drive, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at Safari Haven Serengeti Camp. Both lunch and dinner will be provided, and each person will receive daily supplies of drinking water and non-alcoholic drinks.
The Serengeti National Park is renowned as the final stronghold for significant wildlife, boasting around three million large animals. The majority of these animals participate in a seasonal migration, a spectacle of nature's grandeur. Encompassing 14,763 square kilometers, the region's name, "Serengeti," originates from the Maasai word "Siringet," translating to endless plains.

Day 3

Your last wildlife drive in Serengeti National Park will start early in the morning, after a delicious breakfast. You’ll have the chance to explore more of the park's stunning landscapes and wildlife. After an exciting day, you’ll stop for a satisfying lunch inside the park. Then, you'll make your way towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where the breathtaking views will set the tone for the next part of your adventure. In the evening, you can unwind at your lodge, located on the edge of the crater rim, enjoy a delicious dinner, and settle in for a peaceful night’s rest before the next day's exploration.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you’ll descend 600 meters (about 2,000 feet) to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater. At first glance, the crater feels like stepping onto another world, almost like a lost planet. Hidden within its towering volcanic walls, you'll discover a unique ecosystem, with wide-open savannahs, patches of acacia woodlands, and shimmering lakes and swamps. The crater was formed millions of years ago when a massive volcano erupted and collapsed in on itself, creating this incredible natural wonder.
Driving down into the crater is an unforgettable experience, and once you reach the floor, you’ll be surrounded by a diverse range of wildlife, including over 500 species of birds, zebras, gazelles, and wildebeest. The crater is also one of the best places to spot the endangered black rhinos, which can sometimes be seen grazing on the open grasslands. After a thrilling game drive, you'll enjoy a leisurely lunch at a scenic picnic spot before continuing your adventure.

Day 5

After a delicious breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Lake Manyara National Park, where your game drive begins. The park is home to the shallow, alkaline Lake Manyara, which sits at the base of the stunning Western Rift Valley escarpment. This unique setting offers a surprising diversity of habitats packed into a small area. As you enter, you’ll first pass through a beautiful groundwater forest, teeming with birdlife and vibrant flora. Beyond the forest, you’ll explore a variety of landscapes, from the expansive grassy floodplain to the towering rocky escarpment, and the vast acacia woodlands that stretch as far as the eye can see. Each habitat is rich with wildlife, providing fantastic opportunities for bird watching and game viewing. After a full day of exploration, you’ll return to Gran Melia Arusha, where you can unwind with a delicious dinner and relax in luxury for the night.

Day 6
Foothills of Kilimanjaro

Today, we trade the safari jeep for hiking boots, embarking on an unforgettable day hike on the slopes of Africa's highest peak, Kilimanjaro. We'll leave and journey towards Marangu Gate, the gateway to this natural wonder.
After registering, we'll begin our ascent on the southeastern route. Our goal is Mandara Hut, the first stop for those brave enough to tackle the full summit. Amidst the breathtaking scenery, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch, refueling for the final push. Reaching Mandara Hut, we'll pause to take in the views before starting our descent back to the gate.
We'll celebrate our Kilimanjaro adventure with cold Kilimanjaro beers or perhaps a warming cup of tea. This taste of Kilimanjaro's grandeur is the perfect exclamation point on your Luxury Tanzanian safari and then go ahead to Kilimanjaro airport for your evening return flight to Zanzibar.
