Day 1

Arrival and Transfer to Weruweru River Lodge

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your driver will pick you up and drive you to Weruweru River Lodge. Not very far from Moshi Town. Here you will have dinner freshen out and rest while awaiting tomorrow's hiking experience at Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 2

Hiking to Mandara Hut

Hiking to Mandara Hut

Today you will leave early in the morning after breakfast to Marangu Gate where you will meet your Hiking Guide for this expedition. You will start hiking to Mandara Hut which is 8 km from the gate and 4-5 hours of hiking. Upon reaching Mandara hut you will have some time to rest and have lunch. After exploring the surroundings you can start walking down back to the gate. From there your driver will drive you to Arusha and Meru View Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 3

Tarangire Experience

Tarangire Experience

After breakfast, you will leave Meruview Lodge and drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park has the most elephants of all other parks and also a very large number of Baobab Trees. You will drive around Tarangire national park until early evening when you will exit the park and Drive to Tarangire Simba Lodge where you will have dinner and overnight ahead of tomorrow's adventure.

Day 4

Hadzabe and Datoga Cultural Marvel

Hadzabe and Datoga Cultural Marvel

After an early breakfast, depart from Karatu and drive for about 1.5 hours to Lake Eyasi, home to the Hadzabe and Datoga communities. You will spend the morning with the Hadzabe hunter-gatherers, joining them on their daily activities such as traditional hunting with bows and arrows, fire-making, and gathering fruits and roots. This is a rare opportunity to experience their ancient way of life, which has changed little for thousands of years. Later, visit the Datoga people, skilled pastoralists and blacksmiths. Here you will see how they forge tools, arrowheads, and jewelry using age-old techniques. A picnic lunch will be provided during the excursion. In the afternoon, return to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge.

Day 5

Today, you will head towards Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way, you will stop by Crater View. Here, you will get a sight view of the Crater of Ngorongoro. Afterward, you will drive to Serengeti National Park. You will enter the Serengeti and do a short game drive before stopping for a lunch break. After lunch, you will continue with a game drive in Central Serengeti. In the late afternoon, you will start the drive to your campsite where you will have dinner and spend the night.

As you make your way to the Ngorongoro Crater, you'll enjoy stunning views of the highlands and the vast caldera below. Upon arrival, you will descend into the crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most spectacular wildlife habitats in the world. Here, you'll have the opportunity to observe an incredible array of animals, including the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and leopards—as well as hippos, zebras, and a variety of bird species.
