1-Day Train to the Wild – Mikumi Safari

Enjoy an unforgettable 1-day safari from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park using Tanzania’s modern electric SGR train. Your journey begins with early morning hotel pickup in Dar es Salaam, followed by transfer to the station, where you will be escorted by our company representative for smooth boarding and assistance.

Enjoy a scenic and comfortable train ride through the countryside. Upon arrival, your professional safari guide will meet you and start a game drive in a 4x4 open-sided safari vehicle inside Mikumi National Park. Explore the open savannah and spot wildlife including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, hippos, antelopes, crocodiles, and sometimes leopards, plus many colorful bird species.

Enjoy a bush lunch inside the park, then continue your afternoon game drive before returning to the station for your electric train back to Dar es Salaam. Hotel drop-off included.
