Day 1

You will be picked at the airport in Nairobi followed by briefing, you will thereafter drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will have lunch at the lodge/camp. After lunch, you will have 3 options; Rest at the lodge/camp, nature walk to Maasai culture center or proceed for an afternoon game drive depending on what you are willing to pay for extra. This is another good time of day to view nocturnal hunters who prepare for their nightly expeditions. Watering holes are also usually busy just before sunset as animals such as hippos return to their resting spots while others congregate to drink before retiring for the night. Later in the evening, you will return to your lodge/camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast, you'll have a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. The reserve is well known for its black-maned lions as well as its abundant resident wildlife. It is one of the few places where it's possible to see the Big Five during a morning game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame that they seek shelter from the hot sun under one's vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded.

Day 3
Masai Mara-Lake Nakuru

After morning breakfast, you will depart Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru. You may have lunch enroute. You'll arrive at the park for an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is a small park with over 50% of its area covered by the Lake. Located in the middle of the Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru has a wide variety of animals which includes the Rothschild giraffes, lions, white and black rhinos, as well as the leopard. All these can be spotted depending on your luck. The park is also considered by birdwatchers as an ornithological paradise! A myriad of both greater and lesser flamingoes have made this lake their home.

Day 4
Lake Nakuru-Naivasha

After breakfast, you will have morning drive to Lake Naivasha, it is the highest and the most beautiful of the Rift Valley lakes. At 1910m (6200f), the water is fresh and the lake is fringed with dense clumps of papyrus (ancient Egyptians once used this to make paper). Kingfishers use the papyrus as a perch, and herons hide in it while searching for food. Naivasha is yet another area popular for bird watching (over 400 species have been recorded. You will also get opportunity to hike and have game drive in hells gate national park. You will have full day in Naivasha to participate in either boat cruise, crescent island nature walk or hellsgate activities. Todays activities will be charged extra depending on what activities you take.

Day 5
Naivasha -Amboseli
Naivasha -Amboseli
After breakfast, you will depart Naivasha for Amboseli National Park. Lunch at the camp/lodge followed by an afternoon game drive to explore Amboseli National Park. During your game drive, you will be searching for the big herds of African elephants, cheetahs, lions, gazelles, and the elusive elands. If the weather permits, you will be able to have a magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 6

After breakfast, you will proceed for a full-day morning and afternoon game drive with picnic lunches. A particular feature of Amboseli is the possibility to take picture postcard photos of elephants against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro. Later in the evening, you will return to your camp/lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 7
Amboseli to Mombasa
Amboseli to Mombasa
You will have option of ending this safari in Nairobi or the coastal city of Mombasa and nearby beaches.
For Mombasa, after early morning breakfast you will depart to Emali train station to board first class coach at 9.30am for 3 hours ride to Mombasa town. Upon arrival our drop off vehicle will be waiting to transfer you to your Mombasa or Diani hotel.
