Day 1

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel for a short drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds. From the open roof of the vehicle, you will have the opportunity to experience the seasonal swamps, savanna, and Tarangire River while searching for various animals, including zebras, wildebeest, buffalos, elephants, and giraffes. You might even see a lion stalking its prey or leopards relaxing in the trees above.

After enjoying lunch in the park, we will continue the full-day game drive, expecting to return to Arusha around 6:00pm. We can be flexible with this time if necessary, especially if you have a flight to catch. Additionally, you will be taken to curio shops where you can purchase souvenirs to take home. After a long day of game driving, you will head to the camp for a well-deserved rest.

Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

Today, you will wake up early to embark on a morning safari before breakfast. This is the ideal time to spot animals when they are most active and to enjoy a breathtaking sunrise in front of you. The sunrise in the African savannah is one of the most beautiful experiences one can have!

After the safari, you will travel to the Ngorongoro Crater, home to nearly every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa, including the rare black rhino. In fact, the crater has the highest concentration of wildlife on the planet! It features a river, several swamps, a soda lake that appears steamy from above, filled with flamingos, a forest, and open plains. The large bull elephants that reside here boast exceptionally large tusks due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and grasses.

Following your tour and game drive, you will exit the park and return to your Arusha hotel.
