Electric Train to Morogoro And Game Drive

You will be picked up early in the morning from your hotel and transferred to the train station to catch the 6:00 am train to Morogoro. The train journey takes about two hours, arriving in Morogoro at around 8:00 am.

Upon arrival, you will be met by your safari team and transferred to a restaurant for breakfast. After breakfast, you will continue the drive to Mikumi National Park, arriving at the park around 11:00 am.

Your safari will begin shortly after arrival. At around 1:00 pm, you will stop for lunch, then continue with an afternoon game drive, exploring the park and enjoying wildlife sightings until the evening.

Later in the day, you will be driven to your lodge for check in, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Maasai Visit, Game Drive and Departure

After breakfast at the lodge, you will depart in the morning for a visit to a nearby Maasai community. This visit offers insight into Maasai culture, traditions, and daily life.

After the Maasai visit, you will return to Mikumi National Park for another game drive. The game drive will continue until lunchtime, with time to enjoy the wildlife and scenery.

In the early afternoon, you will exit the park and drive back to Morogoro in time to catch the 4:00 pm train back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be met and transferred back to your hotel, marking the end of the safari.
