Day 1

After breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi, you will be picked up from your agreed meeting point and begin your journey to the Masai Mara National Reserve. The drive takes you through the scenic Great Rift Valley, with a short stop at the viewpoint to enjoy the sweeping landscapes and take photos. On arrival in the Mara, you’ll check in at your camp and enjoy lunch, followed by some time to relax.

In the afternoon, head out for a game drive across the vast and iconic savannah. After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving around midday in time for lunch. In the afternoon, set out on a game drive through this beautiful and diverse park, famous for its scenic landscapes and abundant wildlife. Lake Nakuru is a sanctuary for endangered black and white rhinos and the rare Rothschild’s giraffe, offering excellent opportunities for close wildlife sightings.

The park is also renowned for its rich birdlife, with hundreds of species recorded, including pelicans, cormorants, and, during certain seasons, vast flocks of flamingos that color the lake’s shoreline in brilliant shades of pink.
