Busy Arusha is an essential part of safari life here in northern Tanzania and most tourist pass through at some stage.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Drive from your hotel to Tarangire National Park after early breakfast. Tarangire National Park is known for its elephant’s herds of up to 300, migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland grazing and browsing in the dry river bed. There is Silale swamp that attracts 550 varieties of birds, the most breeding species you'll see in one habitat anywhere in the world! The park is also home of tree climbing pythons, as well as lions and leopards. The park is also famous for its huge baobab trees, yellow acacias, small swamps and palm trees. Spent full day at the Park and later drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Karatu to central Serengeti National Park

Early in the morning we will drive from Karatu to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Get a chance to view the breathtaking Ngorongoro crater overview. The Serengeti National Park is the largest national park in the northern Tanzania which has endless plains its a home to concertation of wildlife and has a diversity of habitats and landscapes short grass plains, savannah, thick bush swamps and lakes. Serengeti National Park is also famous of its yearly migration of wildebeest and zebras trek to find fresh grass and water. In the central part of the Serengeti National Park is Seronera area with diversity of animals such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, hyena, warthogs and different kinds of birds.

Day 4

Early morning game drive in the Serengeti plains trying to capture what was missed on yesterday’s drive. Enjoy an unforgettable sunrise game drive across the Serengeti and get a chance to appreciate the view as the sun set fire to the savannah while predators such as leopards and lions hunt for their morning meal. Alternatively you might want to explore the untouched parts of Serengeti as you casually drift away from the surface of the earth in the early hours of the morning, safe in the basket of a hot air balloon. This is an additional activity if you like to add it then confirm with your safari expert. Later you will proceed to explore the vast savannah of Serengeti in your open roof vehicle with your packed lunch. Take your hat and sunglasses out and enjoy what nature has in store for you.

Day 5
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Taking picnic lunches with you, your drive today will lead you to a descend down the crater floor for a full exploration of what the crater has to offer by tracking game with your guide. The crater is 610m deep and 260km² wide, making it the largest Caldera in the world. The crater contains all the big five animals (lions, elephants, rhinos, leopard and buffaloes), hippos, cheetah, antelopes and spotted hyena. Also in the crater you can see different species of birds. Other game such as velvet monkey, jackal, foxes, rock and tree hyraxes, warthog, gnu, zebra and hare. Later after an amazing game drive to Karatu for overnight.

Departure
Departure
After breakfast, you will be picked up by your private safari guide from your lodge and drive back to Arusha for last minute shopping and re-packing and lunch. Transfer to the airport for Departure.
