Depart early for the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations. As part of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara is home to abundant wildlife and the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration, when thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross its plains alongside predators such as lions, cheetahs and leopards.

Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive exploring the reserve’s rich wildlife and scenic landscapes. Return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive across the magnificent Maasai Mara, enjoying a picnic lunch in the reserve along the way. The Mara is famous for its impressive population of big cats, including the iconic black-maned lions, as well as its abundant resident wildlife. Keep an eye out for the Big Five and other fascinating species as you explore the vast savannah plains.

The reserve is also a paradise for bird enthusiasts, with nearly 500 recorded species, including eagles, hawks, falcons, vultures, storks, bustards and colourful sunbirds. After a rewarding day of wildlife viewing, return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi

After breakfast, visit a traditional Maasai village for an authentic cultural experience. Learn about the Maasai community’s rich heritage, customs and traditional way of life while gaining insight into their unique culture. Later, depart for a scenic drive back to Nairobi, with arrival expected in the late afternoon or early evening. You will be dropped off at your preferred location, marking the end of your memorable Maasai Mara safari.
