Canopy Walk & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, begin your day with a thrilling canopy walk in Nyungwe Forest. Gorilla Trekking & Iby'iwacu Cultural Experience

After an early breakfast, head to the park office at Volcanoes National Park where your group will be assigned based on fitness and interest. Then, embark on an unforgettable gorilla trek. The trek can take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours, but the reward is immense when you come face-to-face with one of the habituated gorilla families. Spending time with these majestic creatures in their natural habitat is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

In the afternoon, visit the Iby'iwacu Cultural Village, a community project supporting local people and conservation efforts. You’ll have the chance to learn about Rwandan traditions, watch cultural performances, and even try your hand at traditional crafts. Return to Muhabura Hotel for a well-deserved rest and dinner after a rewarding day.
