Arrival in Uganda - Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by your guide, then proceed directly to Kibale Forest National Park. You will enjoy scenic views of Uganda's countryside along the way. When you reach at your lodge, check-in and spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing and soaking in the natural surroundings. Enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge, featuring locally sourced ingredients and traditional Ugandan cuisine. Your guide will provide a briefing on the upcoming chimpanzee trekking experience, detailing what to expect and the objectives of the activity.

Chimpanzee Trekking Experience in Kibale Forest

After breakfast this morning, We will go an exciting chimp trek in Kibale forest, accompanied by experienced ranger guides and trackers. As you search for chimpanzee groups, listen for the distinctive calls and vocalizations that indicate their presence. Once you locate a chimpanzee family, you will be allowed to spend 1 hour observing their behavior, interactions, and daily routines while contributing to their gradual acclimatization to human presence.
Use this time to take photographs, ask questions, and deepen your understanding of these remarkable primates and their conservation. Return to the lodge for lunch and some rest time. If interested, you may opt for a Bigodi Sanctuary walk at an extra fee, or spend a relaxed evening.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before departing for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey offers stunning views of Uganda's landscapes as you travel from Kibale to Bwindi, passing through rural villages and lush forests. Arrive at your lodge near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and check-in. Spend the afternoon at leisure, exploring the surrounding area or simply relaxing amidst the natural beauty of the park. Dinner will be served at the lodge, featuring a selection of delicious dishes inspired by local and international cuisine.

Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, You'll be heading to the park headquarters for a briefing about the do's and don'ts during tracking while you meet a group of 7 other travelers. You will then enter Bwindi forest to begin your trekking experience, following the guidance of your expert rangers. As you search for a gorilla family, marvel at the rich biodiversity of the park and keep an eye out for other wildlife species. You will Spend just 1 hour with a gorilla family once you locate one, observing their behavior, interactions, and daily routines.
Enjoy a packed lunch amidst the forest, allowing you to refuel and continue your observation of the gorillas. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon, feeling humbled by the intimate wildlife encounter to relax and get ready for the Batwa cultural experience in the evening.
