Travel from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

After breakfast, your adventure begins as you meet our friendly driver-guide at your hotel, the airport, or any place you choose in the city. You will then start your 4–5 hour drive to Mikumi National Park, driving through beautiful countryside and enjoying a picnic lunch along the way. As you get closer, the landscape opens into wide golden plains, and the tall baobab trees welcome you to the wild heart of Africa. In the evening, you’ll visit a nearby Maasai village, where warm smiles and colorful shukas (traditional Maasai cloths) greet you, and you’ll hear stories about their proud traditions and way of life. When the sun sets, you’ll return to Camp Bastian for a delicious dinner. And if you wish, the night continues around the campfire, where the crackling flames and the starry sky set the perfect mood for stories about the bush, the animals, and the spirit of Africa itself.

You'll embark on your journey back to Dar es Salaam, stopping for a delicious hot lunch in Morogoro town then proceed with your safari, Upon arrival, you'll be dropped off at your designated location within the city.
