We recommend an early arrival in Entebbe, to ensure a smooth start to your safari. On landing at Entebbe International Airport, you'll be greeted by our professional English-speaking driver-guide, then proceed to Kibale National Park. This park is renowned for its diverse primate population, including chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, and several other species. You'll arrive in the late afternoon or evening, check into your accommodation, and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay. Optional activities (at an additional cost) can be arranged if you're picked up from a hotel, such as: bigodi swamp walk, Crater lakes excursion and a visit to the Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves for cultural insights.

Day 2

After breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing on chimp trekking guidelines and safety tips. Then, venture into Kibale Forest with an experienced ranger guide to track these fascinating primates. You will be allowed to spend an hour observing chimpanzees in their natural habitat once they're located. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch, then depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. You'll arrive in the late afternoon, check into your accommodation, and relax. If time permits and you're interested, consider an optional evening game drive at no extra cost.

Start the day early with breakfast, then continue on a thrilling morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. Keep an eye out for Cape buffalos, elephant herds, lions, leopards (though elusive), and more. Return to your accommodation for a relaxing afternoon, including lunch. Later, take a scenic 2-hour boat trip along Kazinga Channel, connecting Lakes George and Edward. You'll marvel at the wildlife, including hippos, elephants, and crocodiles, and spot various bird species along the shores. An evening game drive awaits if interested. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge. Optional (additional cost): If you're up for an adventure, consider a twin lakes hike after the boat trip.

After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, stopping through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions. With a 70% chance of spotting these majestic creatures, keep your eyes peeled for a thrilling sight. Continue to Bwindi, a sanctuary for approximately 400 mountain gorillas, half of the world's population.
