After your arrival, our Professional English-speaking driver-guide will pick you up and take you on a city tour of Kigali, visiting the Genocide Memorial Centre, the main market, the Presidential Palace Museum, and artisan shops. Following the tour, you'll proceed on a scenic 3-hour drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda, enjoying stunning views along the way. Lunch will be served en route, with arrival expected late in the afternoon. You will cross the border into Uganda and overnight at a property close to Mgahinga NP where you will undertake golden monkey trekking the next day.

After breakfast, head to the rangers' post for a briefing, then trek into Bwindi Forest to encounter mountain gorillas. The trek duration (4-8 hours) and terrain depend on the gorillas' movements. Spend an unforgettable hour with these gentle giants once you find them. A packed lunch will be provided to keep you energized throughout the strenuous gorilla trekking activity. Return to the lodge to relax. Optional: Visit a local community in the evening (additional fee applies).

After the drive, transfer to your accommodation in the north sector for rest. Optionally, take a late afternoon game drive in the Kasenyi plains.

Afterwards, choose to either relax at the lodge or take a late afternoon game drive before returning.

After the chimp trek, drive to Entebbe airport for your flight (departing 7:30 PM or later), with a stop at the Equator line in Kayabwe for memorable photos.
