Drive to Masai Mara home to the Great Migration, where each year between July and October millions of wildebeest thunder across the plains in search of fresh pasture, the Maasai Mara is one of the most famous game reserves in the world. From November to June, the Maasai Mara still has one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa so the Big Five can all be ticked off your list on a visit here, and you’ll also get to see huge pods of hippos basking in the rivers, cheetahs racing across the savannah and giraffes ambling between the acacia tree.

Day 2

Breakfast: at the lodge.
After breakfast your day will be spent exploring the park in search of the “Big Five” and trailing the wildebeest migration. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that you can never take in everything. Over 450 species of birds have been recorded on the reserve. You will easily see lion, rhino, hippo, crocodile, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, warthog, hyena, jackal, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelope and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place.
This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savannah including the lion, cheetah, jackal, hyena and vulture. Later in the day you will return to lodge/camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3
Maasai Mara to Serengeti National Park

Breakfast at the lodge,
You will leave the lodge after breakfast, and drive to the border, after border formalities, we'll drive to the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania.
It will be a long day of driving but the afternoon game drives in Serengeti will be a rewarding one plus keep your eyes peeled for the magical Serengeti sunset.
Note: If you want to have a morning game drive in Maasai Mara on these day let us know, from our experience it is always a rush game drive, and on the other hand you will arrive in Serengeti very late in the evening.
Dinner and overnight are at the camp.
Evening: Spend the nights in the so called –migration camp, strategically located close to the migration, ensuring you won’t miss a single moment of the action.

Day 4

Breakfast: at the camp.
Spend your day exploring the northern reaches of the Serengeti on safari, tracking the great array of game and wildlife that this vast area offers. If you’re there at the right time for the great migration (depending on the season), this is the region where the herds are at their most concentrated as they seek to cross the Mara River to reach the open grasslands beyond, and it’s where (if you’re lucky) you’ll see iconic river crossings. It’s also an area of untamed natural beauty, of rolling hills, rivers, forests and open plains.
Dinner: At the camp.
Evening: Spend the nights in the so called –migration camp, strategically located close to the migration, ensuring you won’t miss a single moment of the action.

Day 5

Morning: This morning is set aside for game drives in the Serengeti. The Serengeti boasts an abundance of wildlife such as impalas, buffalos, crocodiles, and hippos. In addition to the iconic landscapes, you have a good chance of encountering predators and you may see lions, cheetahs, and leopards. It is a truly life-changing experience.
Lunch: Picnic in the wilderness,
Afternoon: (Optional) You’ll visit the Olduvai Gorge, and learn about the origin of humankind, and some time at the museum.
You'll have dinner at the lodge.
Evening: You'll enjoy the views of the Ngorongoro Crater highlands.

Day 6

You'll have breakfast at the lodge.
You'll leave your lodge very early in the morning and descend 610 meters to the grasslands of the crater floor, an area of about 265 square kilometers. Despite its small size, the crater is a Big Five country and the openness of the terrain means wildlife viewing. You'll spend the day exploring the crater floor, stopping to picnic on the grasslands amidst the grazing herds. Formed by a massive volcanic eruption, the world’s largest intact and unflooded caldera provides a year-round home to an astonishing 25,000 large mammals, including black rhinos, wildebeests, and zebras, along with Africa’s densest concentrations of hyenas.
Lunch: picnic.
The crater’s forests shelter elephants and buffalos, and its wetlands are home to hippos and flamingos. Lions, jackals, leopards, and caracals make up the full range of predators.
Afternoon: You'll leave the crater and drive to your luxury accommodation.

Day 7

Game viewing Tarangire national park
Explore one of Tanzania’s most rewarding national parks, a land of big baobab trees, big elephants and big cats. No wonder this ends up being the favorite park in Tanzania for many visitors. Sightings of wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, baboons, velvet monkeys and zebras are also almost guaranteed. Lions are plentiful here – Tarangire is home to one of Tanzania’s healthiest lion populations. While you’ll have to work a little harder to see a cheetah or leopard, it will only enhance your excitement when you do. You can also look forward to classic safari scenery – savannah plains, river woodlands and rocky hills.
