After a hearty breakfast at 8:00 am, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and head south. As we drive, you’ll see the savanna stretch out before you, dotted with majestic baobab trees, winding rivers, and the lively villages of the Sakalava people, all framed by beautiful beach views. After about four hours, we’ll arrive in Belo, where you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch featuring fresh fish and local specialties. Then, we’ll visit a nearby village to see the handmade Botry boats crafted by skilled locals. The rest of the day is yours to relax and enjoy the atmosphere at your own pace.

Day 2

Today, we’ll head out by motorboat to the beautiful island of Andravona, an ideal spot for swimming, snorkeling, and fishing. As you enjoy the crystal-clear waters, the crew will prepare a delicious picnic lunch with fresh seafood and local vegetables. In the afternoon, we’ll return to Belo sur Mer, watching for sea birds and, if you’re visiting between June and September, playful dolphins. As the day ends, you’ll witness a stunning sunset over the ocean. The rest of the evening is yours to relax and enjoy at your leisure.

Have an early breakfast before leaving Belo village for your next destination, the fishing village of Andavadoaka. Along the way, you’ll pass through savanna landscapes and remnants of forest dotted with baobab trees—perfect spots to stop for photos. You’ll also see herds of zebus grazing. The zebu is an important animal in Madagascar’s culture and daily life. Upon reaching the Bevoay River, you’ll cross by ferry and continue your journey as the scenery transforms into vast rice fields, scattered baobabs, and small villages. You will arrive in the late afternoon, check in at your hotel, and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Today is a free day for you to relax and enjoy as you wish. The hotel offers a variety of optional activities that can be booked directly on-site. Olô Bé Lodge provides relaxing massages to help you unwind in the peaceful island setting. During whale season, you may spot these magnificent sea creatures close to the hotel. For adventure lovers, you can explore the baobab forest by 4x4 or on foot. Nearby small islands can be visited by canoe, pirogue, motorboat, or catamaran, and kayaking offers the chance to see local wildlife and mangroves up close.

After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll depart for a four-hour drive along sandy roads to the fishing village of Mangily. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and, in the afternoon, visit the “Village of the Tortoise” and Reniala Reserve Park, followed by a tour of the local fishing village. The rest of the day is yours to spend relaxing at the hotel beach.

Today marks the final day of our road safari adventure. Depending on your flight schedule, we will take you to explore the city center of Toliara, where you can learn about the local culture and history. Our service will conclude upon your arrival at Toliara National Airport.
