Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our representative from Nakra Safaris Uganda who will transfer you to your hotel where you will have a night before beginning your adventure. Depending on the time of arrival, you can choose to have the briefing immediately or early the next day.

Day 2

You will wake up early in the morning, and drive to the North west to one of the most loved and biggest national parks. You will take a walking safari to track the white rhinos. You will have lunch along the way. Before heading to the lodge, you will drive to the top of Murchison Falls. You can take a walk to the bottom of the falls and enjoy the amazing views. This is the most scenic part of the park and Murchison Falls is the most powerful waterfall in the world. As you head to the lodge, you will enjoy a guided game drive.

Game Drives and Boat Excursion On The Nile at Murchison Falls National Park

Today, you will have an early morning game drive. You will have an opportunity to search for elephants, hartebeests, antelopes and different lots of birds. On a good day, you are able to see the lions and leopards in one drive. After lunch, you will go on a boat excursion and explore the River Nile up to the bottom of the Falls where the Queen of Africa Movie of 1951 was shot. You can choose to have an extra evening game drive or relax in the evening.

Day 4

Drive To Kibale National Park

Drive To Kibale National Park

Today, you will drive south to the jungle of kibale national park, the capital world of primates such as chimpanzees, baboons, and monkeys. You will have lunch along the way before heading to the lodge. Later in the day, you shall transfer to the Bigodi Wetlands, situated on the eastern edge of the forest. You shall have a light walk in the wetlands to observe plenty of wildlife including birds and many monkey species. You will retire for the day at lodge.

Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Community Walk

Kibale Forest is the primate capital of East Africa. Chimpanzee trekking is a fulfilling adventure that takes you deep in the tropical forest across streams of water. You might have sightings of red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white Columbus monkeys, butterflies, and birds calling from the canopies while on this safari. With the help of your guide, you will locate the chimps. Enjoy picture moments and watch them as they play and feed. In the afternoon, you will visit Bigodi Village and Wetland known for its rich diversity of birds and primates, depending on time availability. Taking this tour, you are contributing to the development of this community because the proceeds are used to build schools and offer small loans.

On this 6 day after breakfast, our journey continues to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a wildlife experience in the plain of Kasenyi. The drive will take us through views of several crater lakes and the mystical Rwenzori Mountain ranges en-route. On arrival in the park, we shall have a small game drive as we proceed to the lodge for lunch. Dinner and overnight stay are at the lodge.

After an early morning breakfast then go for a morning game drive within the park. Anticipate seeing the famous Big Five including buffalos, elephants, lions, and other mammals such as giant forest hogs, bushbucks, kobs, hyenas, and waterbucks. In the afternoon hours, you will partake in a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. You will appreciate the high scores of elephants, hippos, buffalos, and crocodiles. A number of bird species will also be seen including the rare shoebill. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the lodge.

Ishasha -Tree Climbing Lion and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest

You will transfer through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park on the way to Bwindi. This area is known for its tree-climbing lions. In Ishasha sector, we will drive off in this adventurous wide savannah area with topis and African elephants plus to hopefully get the lions high in the fig tree branches. You will have lunch in Ishasha and continue with the transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Here you will experience a change in the landscape from flat savanna, via cultivated hills to jungle-covered mountains. Upon arrival in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will head for the cultural tour to the Batwa forest pygmies community to experience their lifestyle and enjoy their excellent traditional dance. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the lodge. Meal Plan: All meals are included.

After breakfast and briefing by park ranger guides, depart with picnic lunch boxes to start the trekking. The activity can last up to 4 hours or more to find the Mountain gorillas as you hike up and down slippery slopes with dense mist covered vegetation. Hence, you will have a packed lunch for this activity. This active quest will eventually bring you to the face of one of the most sought-after creatures, the mountain gorillas. Upon reaching them, you will have a full hour with them while observing and learning their behavior as you take photos. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the lodge.

After having an early breakfast, go for a morning horse back ride in Lake Mburo National Park. This park is famous for zebras, impalas, giraffes, elands, Cape buffalos, and many tropical bird species. Afterwards, check out of the hotel and transfer to Entebbe International Airport to readily catch your travel back home in the evening as you say farewell to the pearl of Africa! But along the way, you will make a stopover at the Equator line to have an authentic feel of standing at Latitude 00. Bienevinodous.
