Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

You will be picked up from the hotel and driven to Zanzibar Airport, where you will board a small plane that flies to the Serengeti Airstrip. You arrive in Serengeti in the morning, and from there, you will start game drives until the afternoon. You will head to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will head out for a game drive and enjoy a surreal sunset in the Serengeti. After the game drive, you will return to your accommodation for relaxation and a delicious dinner.

Serengeti National Park

This entire day is set aside for game drives in the Serengeti. The Serengeti boasts an abundance of wildlife, such as impalas, buffalos, crocodiles, and hippos. In addition to the iconic landscapes, you have a good chance of encountering predators and you may see lions, cheetahs and leopards. It is a truly life-changing experience.

Today, it is possible to do early morning and late afternoon game drives, returning to the camp for lunch. Otherwise, you can have a full day's game drive with a picnic lunch in the park.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

On this day, after an early breakfast, you will embark on a game drive to various regions of the park. It's time to bid farewell to the Serengeti as you make your way towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, you'll enjoy a scenic drive through the Serengeti, with opportunities for wildlife sightings along the way. Upon entering the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you'll descend into the iconic Ngorongoro Crater, often described as an "African Eden". Here, amidst the breathtaking scenery, you'll encounter a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five. Spend the day exploring the crater floor, where grasslands, forests, and a soda lake provide a haven for diverse species.

As the afternoon sun bathes the landscape in golden hues, you'll ascend from the crater and continue your journey to Mto wa Mbu, where you'll spend the night. An overnight stay will be arranged in Mto wa Mbu at Escarpment Luxury Lodge.

Tarangire National Park to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a morning and afternoon game drive. Tarangire National Park is Tanzania’s third-largest national park. It is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centrepiece of this park, famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here, you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, kudu, buffalo, giraffe and zebra.

After the game drive, you will return to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport, according to your departure time back to Zanzibar.
