2-Day Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater from Beach

Zanzibar-Arusha -Tarangire National Park

Early this morning, around 6 am, you will be picked up by your driver and transferred to Zanzibar Airport. Then, you'll fly to Arusha. On arrival at Arusha Domestic Airport around 9:00 am, you will be picked up by your private safari guide and start your way to Tarangire National Park. In around 2 hours, you will arrive at the park’s gate, where you will register and start on your first safari game drives right away. You will explore the Tarangire plains viewing wildlife, especially near the banks of the Tarangire River, which attracts many animals that visit the river to drink water. Tarangire is a paradise for elephants and other animals found there, including lions, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, cheetahs, Grant's gazelles, Thompson gazelles, impalas, and many more. You will stop for lunch, have lunch, and proceed with a game drive. Later in the evening, you will be transferred to Karatu, where you will check in for dinner and an overnight stay at the Farm of Dream Lodge.

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha - Zanzibar

This day needs an early start to better your chances of seeing more animals, especially the rare ones like black rhinos, as they retire from a night of grazing. The small and big cats are more active in the morning before the sun is hot. After breakfast, you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater, which will take 1 hour and 20 minutes. Ngorongoro Crater, as it is famously known, is the largest unbroken caldera in the world, formed after the collapse of a very large volcano. You can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, topis, elands, jackals, hyenas, buffalos, and with luck, you might spot the elusive leopard and rarely the black rhinos. Later on, after lunch and satisfactory game drives around 5 hours, you will be taken through Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro Airport and fly to Zanzibar, where your driver will be waiting for you at the airport and transfer you back to your hotel.
