Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Program of the day: After an early breakfast at your lodge or upon arrival at Arusha Airport, you will be picked up at a time depending on your lodge location or flight schedule by your expert guide in a private luxury 4x4. Begin your scenic drive through Maasai Bomas en route to Tarangire National Park, arriving around 10:30 am to start an exhilarating morning game drive. Around 01:00 pm, enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch at a designated scenic spot in the park before continuing your afternoon game drive until 04:30 pm. Afterwards, you will be transferred in comfort to your premium lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park is famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, and is home to lions, leopards, zebras, and wildebeests, with seasonal wetlands attracting migratory birds. With fewer visitors than other parks, it offers a more intimate and immersive safari experience.

Karatu to Ngorongoro Highlands and Crater

Program of the day: After an exquisite breakfast, you will be collected from your lodge in Karatu at 05:30 am and embark on a scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Highlands, pausing at the Crater Viewpoint around 06:30 am to admire sweeping, panoramic vistas. You will then descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a luxurious game drive experience. A gourmet picnic lunch will be served on the crater floor around 12:30 pm. Check-out from the crater is typically by 03:00 pm, though this may vary depending on your schedule.

After ascending from the crater, enjoy a complimentary cultural visit to a Maasai Boma before being transferred in comfort to your lodge or Arusha Airport.
