Program of the day: Your luxury safari begins with a convenient pickup from your accommodation in Arusha or Arusha Airport, where your professional safari guide welcomes you to your private 4x4 safari vehicle. Enjoy a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, arriving at approximately 10:30 AM for an unforgettable wildlife adventure. Explore the iconic Tarangire River, a vital water source attracting elephants and other wildlife, and the spectacular Silale Swamp, known for its rich biodiversity. Admire the park’s magnificent baobab trees while searching for lions, giraffes, zebras, and diverse birdlife. At 1:00 PM, savour a freshly prepared picnic lunch in a scenic location within the park. Afterwards, continue your afternoon game drive until 4:30 PM, discovering more of Tarangire’s extraordinary wildlife and landscapes.

Later, enjoy a comfortable transfer to your luxury lodge in Karatu, where a delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight stay await you. This marks the end of day one.

Transfer from Karatu to the Ngorongoro Highlands and Crater, Returning to Arusha

Program of the day: After breakfast, you will depart your lodge in Karatu at 5:30 AM and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area entrance. Arriving at approximately 6:00 AM, you will complete entry formalities before continuing through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. En route, you will stop at the famous Crater Viewpoint to admire panoramic views of the magnificent crater. You will then descend to the crater floor for an exceptional game drive, searching for elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, and the endangered black rhino. At 12:30 PM, you will enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic location before continuing your wildlife exploration until approximately 3:00 PM, when you will ascend the crater and checkout.

Afterwards, you will enjoy a complimentary 30-minute visit to a traditional Maasai boma, discovering local customs and traditions. You will then be transferred to your accommodation in Arusha or Arusha Airport, concluding your unforgettable luxury safari experience.
