3-Day Chobe Camping Safari Low Season

Chobe National Park

At 08.30am guests are met at Kazungula by their guide and are escorted through Immigration formalities. A briefing will follow and at 9.30am you board the boat for a three hour boat cruise into the Chobe National Park. You will have the chance to see fantastic bird life, hippos, crocodiles, and of course elephant and cape buffalo. The boat cruise ends at the Coffee Buzz restaurant at 12.30pm. There is an opportunity to do last minute shopping in Kasane. You then depart on an afternoon game drive and arrive in camp shortly after sunset for drinks around the camp fire and dinner under the stars (water and wine included with dinner, no other drinks).

Chobe National Park

Wake up at dawn with a friendly Botswana “dumela” (good day), and after breakfast head off on an early morning game drive. This time of day is best for finding the big cats or wild dogs as they are still active at this time and chances of seeing them are good. Return to Camp for a delicious “bush brunch” and an opportunity to read, rest or take a refreshing shower. When the day starts to cool off another afternoon game drive follows tea, and good sightings are revisited or areas as yet unexplored are visited. Return to Camp after sunset for a reflective fireside chat. Dinner follows, as always accompanied by the unforgettable sounds of the African night.

Chobe National Park - Departure

Enjoy a dawn breakfast followed by an early morning game drive - you may be lucky and even spot a leopard! Return to Camp for a delicious “bush brunch” and an opportunity to take a refreshing shower and to pack. Leave Camp on a final boat cruise on the Chobe River, before heading back into Kasane/Kazungula.
