Nairobi-Masai Mara National Reserve

On arrival at JKIA International Airport or pick up at your hotel, you will be met by our representative and briefed on your safari. You'll depart and drive via Nairobi towards the Great Rift Valley, viewing scenery and having a stopover at the viewpoint.
You will depart for Masai Mara National Reserve which is 259km south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley then drive past Narok and climb the western wall, entering Hemingway's country ''Serengeti plains''. You'll arrive in time for lunch at Ilkeliani Masai Mara. In the afternoon, you'll enjoy a game drive in this famous reserve. Your dinner and overnight stay are at Ilkeliani Masai Mara.

Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll enjoy a full day at this reserve with morning, afternoon, and evening game drives searching for wild game with an option to enjoy a balloon safari. You can carry a picnic lunch or have lunch at the luxury camp.
The Mara is the land of African legend. Lions are abundant throughout the park, as are the elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebras. Cheetahs and leopards are also regularly seen, and less commonly, rhinos. The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature's few remaining wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara from July to September, where the big animals and their predators are to be present in abundance during the time frame of this trip. Several species of bee-eater, the flying rainbow that heads the list of Mara's birds, occur in the reserve. The Masai Mara is also home to many members of the colourful Maasai people, who may be seen around the borders of the park—Morans. You'll return to the camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara-Serengeti National Park

You'll have breakfast at the tented camp. After departing, you'll drive towards the Isebania Border (border between Masai Mara and Serengeti National Park. On arrival at the Isebania border, after immigration formalities, you will be met by our Tanzanian driver guide, who will drive you to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with game viewing en route. You'll arrive in time for lunch, or you can carry picnic boxes. On arrival, you'll check in at the luxury tented
camp. You'll enjoy an afternoon game drive. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.

After breakfast, you will drive to Arusha. There is an option whereby you can have an overnight at Arusha, or board your International flight departure(option that applies) where the safari ends.
