Antananarivo - Andasibe

The departure is scheduled at 9:00 am towards Andasibe. You will visit the exotic Peyrieras Reserve, where you'll find chameleons, lizards, frogs, snakes, butterflies, and Sifaka lemurs, as well as other species of lemurs, such as Indri and Ring-tailed. Then, you'll head to Andasibe, the world-famous lemur paradise. We plan to visit Va-kona Reserve in the afternoon. When it gets dark, you'll start the night tour through the forest to observe night lemurs and other nocturnal animals. Your overnight stay will be in Andasibe.

Visiting Voimma Park and Vakona Reserve

Today is dedicated to a full day of exploration in the Andasibe region. In the morning, you will visit Andasibe–Mantadia National Park, where guided walks lead you through lush rainforest and primary jungle, offering opportunities to observe more lemur species, discover rich plant life, and enjoy scenic waterfalls hidden within the forest.
In the afternoon, continue to the VOI. MMA Park is a community-managed reserve known for its impressive biodiversity. While smaller in size, VOI. MMA is home to numerous species, including several types of lemurs, amphibians, reptiles, and a wide variety of birds. Together, these protected areas highlight the extraordinary wildlife richness of Andasibe and provide an in-depth understanding of Madagascar’s unique ecosystems.
Your overnight stay will be in Andasibe.

Andasibe - Antananarivo

After breakfast, you will head to Andasibe Analamazaotra National Park. The primary forests contain a dense humid forest. It is covered with lichens, moss, ferns, and more than a hundred orchid species. And many species of lemurs, indri-indri, the largest of all, diademed sifaka, common brown lemur, bamboo lemur, and the sportive lemurs too. Other common plants growing here are pandanus, ravinala palm-tree, tam-bourissa, bamboos, and some precious woods, like palisander and ebony. The extraordinary animal diversity is completed with another 15-mammal species, more than 100 birds (many of them endemic, like the Madagascar yellow-browed.
After the visit, you'll stop for lunch and then take the road to Antananarivo. Once arrive in Antananrivo, we transfer you to your hotel.
