Day 2

You'll have breakfast in the hotel, then drive on the RN2 toward Palmarium Reserve. When you arrive at Manambato, you will take a boat. You will sail on the Pangalanes channel till you arrive at the Palmarium Reserve. This night you are going to do a night safari to see the endemic wildlife of Madagascar, the AYE AYE.

Visit of Analamazaotra Park and Vakona Reserve

You will enjoy a full day on a Madagascar wildlife safari with a visit to Andasibe Analamazaotra National Park. The primary forests are dense and humid. It is covered with lichens, moss, ferns, trees, and more than a hundred orchid species. There are many species of lemurs: indri-indri, the largest of all, the diademed sifaka, the common brown lemur, the bamboo lemur, and the sportive lemurs, too. Other common plants growing here are pandanus, ravinala palm tree, tambourissa, bamboos, and some precious wood, like palisander and ebony. The extraordinary animal diversity is complemented by another 15 mammal species, and more than 100 birds (many of them endemic, like the Madagascar yellow brow). In the afternoon, you will head to the Vakona Reserve to play with the lemurs and see many crocodiles as well as whistling ducks, kingfishers, and other species of birds.

After breakfast, you'll start driving south towards Antsirabe. On the way, you will stop at the Ambatolampy pottery to discover how they make the pots from recycled aluminum. After the visit, you will continue towards Antsirabe. Upon arrival, you will check in at your hotel for relaxation and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, you are going to do a city tour of Antsirabe by visiting the zebu’s corn factory and the miniature, which makes this city super popular. Then, you will do a rickshaw ride along the avenue. Antsirabe is the third biggest city in Madagascar. After the city tour, you will continue further southwest on the national road 34, which links Antsirabe to Morondava. On the way, you will have several stops for getting a nice picture of the amazing landscape with mountains and zebras, gold mining, as well as villagers around.

Day 8

Morondava - Bekopaka

Today, after breakfast, you will drive to Bekopaka, a village that is the gateway to the Tsingy of Bemaraha National Park. You will drive through Baobab Alley. You will have a quick stopover here to get a first feeling of this paradise. Then, you'll continue to Bekopaka. On the way, you will be crossing two different rivers on ferry boats. After the first ferry, you will stop to have lunch at a town called Belo sur Tsiribihina. After lunch, you will continue your way further to Bekopaka. A few kilometres before Bekopaka, you will cross another river again, which is called the Manambolo River. After the last ferry, you will drive for a few minutes to reach your hotel.

In the afternoon, you will feel strong enough to discover the small Tsingy and head there to visit and experience its beauty. You can also decide to relax by the pool with your fresh drink.

On your way to Morondava, you will visit the sacred baobab and the “in love baobab”, which is a unique scene of two large baobab trees that have grown together intertwined. This tree symbolizes the union of two lovers, and many couples come here to renew their vows. After this, you will continue your drive to admire the most popular sunset in all of Madagascar, the sunset at Baobab Alley. The baobabs located in this region have been around for 800 years. It is one of the most popular attractions in all of Madagascar. After your sunset experience at Baobab Alley, you will continue your drive to your final destination for the day, Morondava. Upon arrival in Morondava, you will check into your hotel and settle in for the evening.

Baobabs and painted Mahafaly tombs are the highlights of this 4-hour road trip. You will continue south toward Ifaty, your destination of the day. You'll enjoy relaxing time at the beach.

Nosy Komba is the perfect place for a quick 20-minute boat ride. On land, a magnificent discovery of the island lasting 1h 30 maximum will be organized through a visit to the artisanal village with its embroidery and wood crafts market. And the visit to the mini park in which you will appreciate the endemic species of the island, such as the famous local macaco lemurs, BOA constrictor snakes, chameleons, and various land turtles. Afterward, you'll head to the island of Nosy Tanikely (the small land) for a snorkeling discovery, accompanied by an experienced guide, of the magnificent protected marine area of Tanikely. A true natural aquarium, it is one of the best snorkeling spots to observe a multitude of corals and multicolored fish, such as sunfish, clown fish, swordfish, rays, and even sea turtles.
