1-Day Gorilla Trekking in Uganda from Kisoro

Your day begins early, with a 6:00am pick-up from your hotel and transfer to the park station where your gorilla trekking adventure begins. The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family you are tracking. The trail can be challenging, with steep slopes and dense vegetation, but the anticipation of encountering mountain gorillas keeps your energy and excitement high.

Eventually, you will reach a forest clearing. Here, you will come face-to-face with these gentle giants in their natural habitat. You will see them interacting and playing, seeing them care for their young, offering a rare glimpse into their complex social lives. You will spend one precious hour with the group, keeping a respectful distance.

After this unforgettable experience, you will return to the park entrance and receive a trekking certificate, a memento of your experience. Finally, you will return to your hotel in Kisoro, where your extraordinary one-day adventure ends.
