Your adventure begins with a 100km drive to Debark, the gateway to Simien Mountains National Park, taking about 1.5 hours. After registering at the park office, you’ll drive another 22km to the park's main area, where exploration begins.
Here, breathtaking views greet you across rugged terrain, home to unique plants & birds. You'll also see troops of Gelada monkeys, known for their sociable nature & striking looks, which delight many visitors.
Continuing to Sankaber, you'll reach Sankeber Camp at 3,250 meters altitude. The journey is as captivating as the destination, best awe-inspiring landscapes.
From Sankeber Camp, trek down to Jinbar Waterfall, a 2-hour hike. The magnificent falls & a picnic in this serene spot provide a perfect rejuvenation before heading back. You'll return to Gondar with cherished memories of Ethiopia's natural beauty.
