Day 1

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel in either Entebbe or Kampala. Enjoy a relaxed evening as you recover from your journey and prepare for your safari adventure. If time permits, explore nearby attractions like the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. Dinner is at your leisure, either at the hotel or a nearby restaurant offering Ugandan or international cuisine. Overnight stay in a comfortable lodge or hotel. Tomorrow marks the start of your journey into Uganda’s pristine natural wonders.

Day 2

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park

After breakfast on day two of the 10-day safari, our driver guide will pick you up from the hotel and start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is located in the southwestern part of Uganda. On the way, you have a stopover at the equator where you will buy souvenirs, and crafts among other items. You will then proceed with another stopover for en-route lunch and upon arrival, you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early morning breakfast on day three, you carry a packed lunch and the driver guide will transfer you to the park headquarters for a briefing about the rules, regulations, and expectations of gorilla trekking. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the jungle which takes about 2 to 7 hours depending on where the gorillas are located. During the trekking, you will have views of mammals, other primates, and different bird species among others. Once the gorillas are located you will be allowed to spend 1 hour with them in their natural habitat which allows you to watch them carry out their daily activities like feeding, breastfeeding, playing, grooming young ones, learning more about their behaviors, taking photos, and record breathtaking moments.
After the encounter with the gentle giant, you will trek back to the headquarters and meet up with your driver guide to transfer you to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park

After breakfast, depart Bwindi and travel north to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse ecosystems. Drive through the scenic Ishasha sector, where tree-climbing lions may be spotted resting in fig trees. Keep your eyes open for other wildlife along the way. Arrive at your lodge near the Mweya or Kasenyi area in time for lunch or afternoon relaxation. Take in sweeping views of the savannah plains and Rwenzori Mountains in the distance. Enjoy dinner at the lodge and prepare for a wildlife-filled day tomorrow in this iconic park.

Day 5

After breakfast on day five, your driver guide will pick you up for an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. During the game drive you will be graced with great views of animals like buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, giant forest hogs, elephants, bushbucks, lions, leopards, and hyenas, and views of different bird species among others. After the fascinating game drive return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for an exciting boat cruise which is carried out on the Kazinga channel a 40km long channel that connects Lake Edward and Lake Gorge. The boat ride rewards you with breathtaking views of the large concentrations of hippos and crocodiles in the water, views of elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, and antelopes along the shores, water birds like kingfishers, fish eagles, hornbills, cormorants, and bee-eaters, among others. After the boat ride which takes about 2 hours, you will drive back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 6

Begin the day with a final game drive through the scenic crater lakes region or Mweya peninsula for more wildlife sightings. After breakfast, depart for Kibale National Park, a journey of around 3–4 hours through Fort Portal and the lush tea-growing areas of western Uganda. Arrive at your lodge near the forest in time for a late lunch or rest. Spend the afternoon enjoying the peaceful surroundings, and perhaps take a short walk to explore the local area. Prepare for your upcoming chimpanzee tracking adventure the following day in this primate haven.

After an early breakfast, head to Kanyanchu Visitor Centre for a briefing before venturing into Kibale Forest for chimpanzee tracking. With the help of experienced guides, locate a chimpanzee troop and observe their dynamic social behavior, feeding, and playfulness. The trek also offers sightings of other primates and birds. Return for lunch, then visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary in the afternoon. This community-run project is home to a variety of bird species, butterflies, and monkeys. Enjoy a guided nature walk along raised boardwalks through papyrus wetlands. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast on day eight of the 10-day safari, you will meet your driver guide and embark on your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. On your way, you have en-route lunch as you have spectacular views of local people, homesteads, farmlands, Rwenzori mountains, and tea plantations, with stopovers to take photos and stretch your legs.
Upon arrival, you will directly go to the top of the falls where you will enjoy stunning views of the waterfall, beautiful scenery, water splashes, and rainbow, and listen to the roars of the waterfall among others. From the top of the falls, you will drive to check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.

On the early morning of day 9, you have an early morning breakfast and your driver guide will pick you up to go for a morning delta drive where you will able to see animals like warthogs, buffaloes, giraffes, Uganda kobs, zebras, Patas monkeys, baboons, elephants, among others grazing in the open savannah plains, view predators like lions, hyenas, leopards, before they go back to their hiding areas, view different birds among others. After the game drive you will head back to the lodge for lunch.

You will then go for an exciting boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. During the boat ride which takes about 2 hours, you will have spectacular views of the beautiful scenery, hippos, and Nile crocodiles in water, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, and antelopes, along the shores, water birds like the kingfishers, bee-eaters, cormorants, and fish eagles among others. After the boat cruise, you will meet up with your driver guide and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart Murchison Falls for Kampala or Entebbe, with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary en route. Here, you’ll enjoy a guided walk to track rhinos on foot, offering a rare opportunity to observe these endangered giants in their natural environment. Learn about ongoing conservation efforts to reintroduce rhinos into Uganda’s wild. After the trek, continue your journey with a lunch stop along the way. Arrive in Kampala or Entebbe in the late afternoon or evening. Depending on your schedule, you’ll be dropped at your hotel or airport, marking the end of your safari.
