Moremi Game Reserve

Your guide will greet you at 07:30 at a pre-arranged meeting point in Maun. From there, you’ll journey to Moremi Game Reserve one of Botswana’s premier wilderness areas, featuring both swamp and dry landscapes.

The safari is a full participation safari, where guests are actively involved in camp duties, such as carring their bags from the car, setting up tents, preparing meals, and packing vehicles. The maximum number of guests per vehicle is 9.

Over the next two days, you’ll embark on a quest to discover the rich diversity of wildlife and birds that this region is famous for, all while soaking in the sounds and beauty around you. Expect game drives in the early morning at sunrise and late afternoon at sunset.

Khwai Consession

Following an early breakfast you continue your journey to Khwai, stopping for a picnic lunch en-route. The Khwai River forms a boundary between the reserve and the community area. You spend the next three nights camping at a campsite in the community area, exploring the Khwai floodplains on game drives. Here, you will enjoy a Mokoro trip exploring the water ways of Khwai which is the most eastern reach of the Okavango river system.

Maun Tour Ends

Wakeup early morning and have breakfast before we do our last drive around the area and then drive back to Maun where you will bid farewell to our safari hosts before you connect with your flight or we drop you off at the hotel or lodge.

We are happy to assist with arranging any post-tour accommodation, activities and transfers at an additional cost.
