Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

After breakfast, we will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, stopping at the Equator for photos and souvenirs. Along the way, we will pass local communities and cattle farms in Mbarara, arriving in time for lunch. Continuing through more villages and farmland, we will reach Bwindi, home to half of the world's remaining mountain gorillas."

Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, head to the rangers’ post for a briefing on trekking rules. Enter Bwindi Forest, a dense, steep landscape with trails through which gorillas move. Trek times vary depending on their location. Once found, spend an hour observing these gentle giants—an unforgettable experience. Return to your lodge, check out, and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, famed for its 29 islands, lush terraced hills, and diverse birdlife, offering magical views all day.
