Your driver-guide will pick you up in Entebbe to begin the overland journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Pause at the Uganda Equator line for photos and experiments before continuing through southwestern Uganda's rolling terraced hills and countryside. Arrive at your lodge on the edge of the ancient rainforest in the late afternoon. Following an early morning breakfast and briefing from park rangers, head into Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to track a habituated mountain gorilla family. Spend a memorable hour observing their daily interactions, feeding, and behaviors in their natural rainforest habitat. Afterwards, return to the lodge to check out and embark on a scenic transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Arrive in the late afternoon to unwind along the tranquil shores of Africa's second-deepest lake and enjoy dinner.
