Drive from Mombasa to Tsavo West

We pick you up for your morning departure from Moi International Airport, hotel, or beach resort in Mombasa, Diani, Kilifi, or Watamu. We drive to the Tsavo West National Park surrounded by the Chyulu Hills and the Pare Mountains, not forgetting the volcanic lava hills. We continue with your first game-viewing drive en-route to Ngulia Lodge for lunch. The lodge is spectacularly situated on the edge of the Ndave Escarpment, offering a vast panorama of Tsavo's sweeping plains. Relax at the lodge before the late afternoon game viewing, then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Evening attractions at the lodge include the nightly visit of a local leopard who visits a nearby tree to eat the bait that has been set out by the staff at the lodge.

From West to East

The morning game drive includes a visit to the Mzima Springs, a water spring that obtains most of its water from Chyulu Hill and Mount Kilimanjaro. It produces more than 95 million gallons of water each day, creating a home for hippos, crocodiles and fish, which can be clearly seen through the glass observation tank.

We go on another game drive en-route to Voi Safari Lodge for lunch. Relax at the lodge, enjoying a beau­tiful panoramic view of Tsavo East National Park. The lodge is built on a hill overlooking 2 waterholes which attracts a big herd of buffalos and elephants. During the afternoon game drive, you have a chance of seeing the big cats, before returning to the lodge for dinner and our overnight stay.

We go on another morning game drive before or after breakfast. Afterward, we start our journey back to Moi International Airport, your hotel, or a beach resort in Mombasa where you arrive before lunchtime. We'll stop for lunch on the way to your hotel in Diani, Kilifi, or Watamu.
