Your journey begins in Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda, where you'll be picked up from your hotel after breakfast for a drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. Along the way, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of Rwanda and Uganda's diverse landscapes, rolling hills, and lush green forests, creating an unforgettable experience. You'll stop at the border for clearance with authorities before continuing into Uganda. Upon reaching your lodge, the hotel staff will welcome you, assist with check-in, serve lunch, and provide time to refresh before enjoying dinner and an overnight stay.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

At 6:40 AM, after breakfast, you'll head to the park headquarters for a briefing by the rangers. They will share information about gorilla behavior, safety measures, and guidelines for interacting with the gorillas. Participants are split into smaller groups of 8 to ensure a more personal and less disruptive experience for the gorillas. You'll then travel to the trek's starting point, which might involve a short drive through the park. The trek itself can take 4 to 5 hours, depending on the gorillas' location. Park rangers will guide you through the dense forest and help you navigate the terrain.

Upon encountering the gorillas, you'll have up to an hour to observe them, take photos, and watch their behavior. After this time, you'll trek back to the starting point. Finally, your guide will drive you back to the lodge for lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depending on your flight departure time, our guide will take you to Kisoro Airport for your flight to Entebbe. If you're staying in Entebbe, our driver will meet you at the airport to welcome you and drive you to your lodge, marking the end of your safari with Gatsio Safariz. We hope to take you on another adventure in the future!
