Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Uganda

Your trip starts from Kigali Capital city of Rwanda, pick up at your hotel after breakfast, and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. Being on this road trip, you will enjoy stunning views of beautiful Rwanda and Uganda's diverse landscapes, rolling hills, and lush green forests, making for a memorable experience. You will make a stop at the border for clearances with the authorities. Later, you'll proceed with the drive into Uganda. Upon arrival at your lodge, you will be greeted by the hotel team, check in, serve lunch, refresh, and then have dinner and an overnight stay.

Don't forget to include sturdy footwear, rain gear, and a good-quality camera for your best trekking experience.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

At 6:40 AM, after breakfast, you'll be driven to the park headquarters for a briefing by the rangers. This will include information about gorilla behavior, safety precautions, and the guidelines to follow while interacting with the gorillas. Participants are divided into smaller groups in groups of 8 people to ensure a more intimate and less disruptive experience for the gorillas. Later, you'll travel to the starting point of the trek, which may involve a short drive through the park. The trek can last for 4/5 hours, depending on where the gorillas are located. The park rangers will lead you through the dense forest, helping you navigate through the terrain.
On encountering the gorillas, you may spend up to one hour observing them. During this time, you'll have the opportunity to take photos and watch their behavior. After the hour with the gorillas, you'll trek back to the starting point. Our guide will drive you back to the lodge for lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Transfer to Kampala

In the morning, after your breakfast, depending on your flight departure time. Our guide will transfer you to the airport in Kisoro for your flight to Entebbe, and in case you are staying in Entebbe, we will have our driver waiting at the airport to pick you up and take you to your lodge.
