Starting early, you’ll set out on the park’s network of dirt tracks, exploring the expansive savannah and wetlands that attract a variety of animals. Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of elephants, often seen roaming near the famous Kimana Swamp. After breakfast, you’ll depart Amboseli and travel north along the Mombasa Road, passing through Maasai land with expansive savannah and glimpses of Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. A brief stop at the Chyulu Hills offers stunning panoramic views of volcanic landscapes and the mountain. Continuing, you’ll enter Tsavo West, known for its rugged terrain, wildlife, and volcanic hills.
