Day 3

Samburu National Reserve- Aberdares National Park

Depart from Samburu in the morning for Aberdares National Park, soaking in the picturesque views of Timau Wheat farms along the way as you ascend into the Kenyan highlands. The park boasts diverse landscapes, including mountain peaks, V-shaped valleys, streams, rivers, waterfalls, moorland, bamboo forests, and rainforests at lower altitudes. Upon arrival, check-in at the lodge for lunch and refreshments. In the early evening, embark on a game drive within the park, with opportunities to spot Forest Elephants, Mountain goats, Buffaloes, Hyenas, and other wildlife. Don't miss the chance to visit the scenic Chania Falls. Later, return to the lodge for accommodation and supper.

Wake up early for breakfast and then check out to be driven to Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy a brief stop at the Equator viewpoint along the way. Upon arrival, embark on an en route game drive as you head to your lodge located inside the park. After lunch and a brief rest, indulge in an afternoon tour of the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. Nestled on the floor of the Rift Valley, it's a haven for bird watchers, hosting a vast variety of bird species. Keep an eye out for the endangered Rothschild giraffe, white and black rhinos, and other wildlife. Don't miss the iconic attractions like Baboon Cliff, Lion Hill, and Makalia Waterfalls.
