Nairobi-Maasai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from your hotel or the airport by your driver-guide and depart for the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, arriving at your lodge or camp in time for check-in and lunch. After a short rest, you will head out for your afternoon game drive in the reserve, renowned for its rich wildlife and vast plains. Search for the Big Five as you explore the Mara before returning to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full Game drives at Masai Mara

After breakfast, you will head out for a full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara with a packed lunch. The reserve is renowned for its black-maned lions and abundant wildlife, offering excellent chances of spotting the Big Five. You may also encounter cheetahs resting under vehicles or scanning the plains for prey.

You will have the opportunity to visit the Mara River, especially during the migration season when dramatic crossings may occur. Optional activities at an extra cost include a visit to a local Maasai village to experience their rich culture and traditions. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you will depart the Maasai Mara and drive towards the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is famous for its birdlife, especially flamingoes that often line the shores, as well as its thriving rhino sanctuary with both black and white rhinos. You will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is home to a wide range of wildlife including lions, leopards, buffalo, and numerous bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
