Pick-up time from your hotel in Zanzibar is 5:00am, after which you will be driven to Zanzibar International Airport. Your flight to Selous departs around 7:00am. Upon arrival at Mtemere airstrip at 8:00am, our driver-guide will welcome you and briefly overview your tour itinerary.

Game drives are the best way to explore the vast wildlife. You can expect to see a variety of animals, including elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, zebras and even rare African wild dogs. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in a beautiful setting with an excellent view of the park.

Later in the evening, you will return to the lodge to relax, have dinner and spend the night.

After breakfast, embark on a 2-hour sunrise boat safari along the magnificent Rufiji River. This boat safari provides a unique chance to observe wildlife, including bird colonies, hippos, and crocodiles, as they come to drink at the water's edge while you take in the stunning morning scenery. Later, you will transfer to Mtemere airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. Our driver will take you back to the hotel.
