Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Today, after breakfast, you'll meet and greet with the company driver-guide who takes you through your 3-day road trip. Later, you'll set off on a gorilla trekking tour to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The drive is long, but you enjoy the fabulous scenery, interacting with the local people, and the eye-catching landscapes along the way. You enjoy an amazing stopover at the Uganda equator for photography, and buy some refreshments. Then, you'll proceed to Mbarara for an en route lunch. Afterward, you'll continue to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. On reaching the park, you'll transfer to your booked lodge, check in, enjoy dinner, plus an overnight stay.

Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

You'll start your day with an early breakfast at the lodge, then grab your packed lunch before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. They assign you to a gorilla family group for the trek ahead. Once assigned, your guide leads you through Bwindi’s thick, impenetrable forest in search of a rare, habituated mountain gorilla family. You have one hour to interact with these magnificent creatures, maintaining silence while observing their fascinating lifestyle. You'll capture unforgettable moments with photos as you learn about the gorillas. After the trek, you'll return to the park headquarters to receive a certificate recognizing your contribution to gorilla conservation. In the afternoon, you'll transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda’s deepest and most picturesque lake, surrounded by islands. You'll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Eco Paradise Lodge.

Canoeing/ Boat Ride on Lake Bunyonyi and Transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe

After an early morning breakfast, you will go for a boat ride or canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi, where you'll see several islands and also interact with the locals. Later, you will transfer back to Kampala, stopping over for lunch in Mbarara and later at the equator. You'll continue with the drive to Entebbe. On arrival, your driver will drop you at your hotel of residence. This marks the end of your 3-day Uganda gorilla safari.
