Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

Depending on where you're staying in Zanzibar, a driver will pick you up around 5:00 a.m. and take you to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport. From there, you’ll catch a flight to Arusha, where your friendly guide will be waiting to welcome you and give you a quick briefing about your upcoming adventure.

You’ll then begin your full-day safari in Tarangire National Park—a peaceful and less crowded park that’s considered one of Tanzania’s hidden gems. Tarangire is especially famous for its large elephant population and beautiful scenery filled with giant baobab and acacia trees.

Around midday, you’ll enjoy a delicious hot picnic lunch right in the heart of the park, surrounded by stunning views and the sounds of nature. Then you will continue with a short guided game drive before heading back.
