Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

You will set up very early in the morning for your tour to the far North which will cover 2 highlighted tourist destinations on your Uganda safari; Ziwa rhino sanctuary and Murchison falls wildlife national park respectively. The journey will take you through various villages in Uganda’s far north with green beautiful vegetation and several roadside fruit and vegetable markets. On arrival at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking which will take you a maximum of one hour depending on where the rhinos are located. The rangers here will brief you and help out with tracking the rhinos in the wild. After tracking the rhinos, you will have lunch. After lunch, you will proceed on your journey to Murchison falls national park later in the evening. On this first day of the tour, you will also have the opportunity to hike to the top of the Murchison falls and enjoy spectacular views. Later retire to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Morning Safari Game drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise of the Nile

Wake up very early and take breakfast or have a packed breakfast as you drive for the morning game drive to see animals going out for the day and others retreat to their dens after a busy night of hunting. Murchison Falls National Park has an amazing collection of wildlife. Expect to see hyenas, giraffes, elephants, lions, buffaloes, water bucks and many others. There are more Roskilde giraffes here than in any other national park in East Africa. Birders will be impressed with the variety on offer. This is where you can spot the shoebill stork, ibis, marabou stork, egrets and kingfishers.

Once you finish the game drive, you will be taken for a safari boat ride later in the afternoon after eating your lunch. While on the boat ride, you will enjoy seeing animals like hippos, elephants, crocodiles, lizards, and so many others. Later retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Transfer back to Kampala

After an early morning breakfast, you will check out from the lodge and be taken for yet another short morning safari game drive as you will be waving bye to the majestic Murchison falls national park. Expecting to arrive in Entebbe later in the evening for your flight back home.
