Travel from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

After breakfast, meet your professional driver-guide at your hotel at 08:00 AM and begin your journey to Mikumi National Park, a scenic 5–6 hour drive with a picnic lunch stop along the way. You’ll arrive around 3:00 PM, with a game drive en route to your lodge, offering the chance to spot wildlife like elephants, giraffes, and zebras. After a short rest at Camp Bastian Mikumi or similar, enjoy a cultural walk to a nearby Maasai village for traditional Maasai activities.

In the evening, you'll return to your accommodation for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay at Camp Bastian Mikumi, where you can relax and reflect on the day’s adventure.
