3-Day From the Beaches in Zanzibar to the Wildlife

Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will be transferred from your Hotel in Zanzibar to the Zanzibar airport. You will fly to the Arusha Airport, where you will meet your safari guide. The drive to Tarangire National Park is about 90 minutes, and the game drive commences as soon as one enters the park. This park is well known for a great number of elephants, birdlife, big cats, and other stunning wildlife. During the dry season, the Tarangire River, which cuts through the park, is a magnet for animal life. Later on, you will proceed to your lodge for an overnight stay and dinner.

Ngorongoro Crater

The drive to the Ngorongoro Crater is about 90 minutes from your hotel. The Crater offers another opportunity for an exciting game drive on the crater floor. This dramatic caldera is inhabited by more than 25,0000 resident animals. The Crater is a unique ecosystem of grass steppe and acacia forest inhabited by the Big Five as well as zebra, hippo, wildebeest, cheetah, and many more. Later on, you will ascend the crater and proceed to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, your safari guide will collect you from your hotel and drive to Lake Manyara. This lake is found on the edge of the Rift Valley Escarpment. Manyara’s habitat includes large troops of baboons and monkeys, lions, hippos, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes, and hundreds of species of birds, including flamingos. Following the visit to Manyara, you will drive to Arusha.
