Drive from Johannesburg or Pretoria to Komatipoort

Today, we will drive about 5 hours from Johannesburg to Buckler's Lodge, which is located 10km from the Crocodile Bridge gate, one of the Kruger National Park entrances. We will arrive at our lodge in the late afternoon. If time permits, you may participate in the optional sunset drive in the greater Kruger National Park.

A game drive in the Kruger National Park

After breakfast, we will drive through the park in our closed vehicle for a game drive. We will then head to the Sabie River bush lodge, which is about 30 minutes drive from Kruger gate. The drive will be a great opportunity to spot many animals inside the park. We will arrive at our lodge in the late afternoon.

Full-day safari in Kruger National Park

Today, we will start very early in the morning for a full-day game drive in the greater Kruger National Park in the hope of spotting the Big Five and other small animals. Kruger National Park is the biggest game park in South Africa, one of the biggest in Africa, and the home of the Big Five. The park is roughly 360km long, north to south, and roughly 70km wide, east to west, bordering Mozambique on the eastern side. We will return to the lodge in the late afternoon at 15h00.

Drive back to Johannesburg via the Panorama Route

Today, we will start very early in the morning. We'll drive from Kruger National Park to Johannesburg via the Panorama Route, which is located at the foot of the Drakensberg Mountains in the northeastern parts of the Mpumalanga Province. We will visit numerous attractions along the Panorama Route, including God's Window and the Blyde River Canyon before we head back to Johannesburg.
