Your guide will pick you up from your hotel or residence early in the morning for a scenic drive to Samburu Game Reserve. After a comfortable journey, you’ll arrive in time for a delicious lunch at your accommodation, where you can relax and prepare for the exciting activities ahead. In the afternoon, embark on an optional game drive through the reserve.
Samburu Game Reserve, located in Kenya's Northern Circuit, is one of the most stunning parks in the country, known for its rugged beauty and diverse wildlife. The reserve is home to the famous "Samburu Five" — unique species including the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx. It also hosts large herds of African elephants and the majestic Masai giraffe. As you explore, you'll be surrounded by striking landscapes of riverbanks, acacia forests, and arid plains, making for an unforgettable safari experience.

Day 2

On the second day, we will follow the Ewaso Ngiro River path, searching for wildlife such as elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, reticulated giraffes, Grevy's zebras, Beisa oryx, and smaller creatures like dik-diks, warthogs, and olive baboons. Spend the whole day exploring the diverse landscapes of this unique game reserve, with the river offering a backdrop to incredible wildlife encounters. Over 450 bird species, including vultures, kingfishers, marabous, bateleurs, guinea fowl, and Somali ostriches, can be spotted along the river.
At lunchtime, your guide will prepare a delicious picnic in a safe, shady spot, allowing you to relax and recharge before continuing with the afternoon game drive.
Alternatively, if you prefer a more leisurely schedule, your guide can arrange for morning and afternoon game drives only, ensuring a flexible and enjoyable experience.

After breakfast, we begin our journey by road to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, arriving in time for a delicious lunch. Afterward, you can opt for an afternoon game drive to explore the conservancy.
Ol Pejeta, located on the Laikipia Plateau, is one of Kenya’s premier wildlife sanctuaries, home to all of the Big Five. It is particularly famous for being the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, housing both southern white rhinos and the last two northern white rhinos in the world. The conservancy is also home to Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, which cares for orphaned and abandoned chimpanzees, offering a unique opportunity to see these intelligent creatures up close.

Take some time to relax and reflect on the incredible experiences from the past days. After check-out, we’ll begin the scenic drive back to Nairobi, allowing you to enjoy the landscape along the way. Upon arrival in Nairobi, your guide will drop you off at your hotel or residence, concluding your safari with unforgettable memories of Africa’s wildlife and landscapes.
