Day 2

After breakfast, we begin a scenic game drive to Tarangire National Park, with lunch boxes in tow.
Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and offers a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to open savannas, with the Tarangire River flowing through the park. You might even witness a lion stalking its prey or spot leopards watching from the trees above. After a day full of exciting game drives, we head to your lodge where you can unwind, enjoy a delicious dinner, and spend the night.

You’ll start your day early with an enchanting game drive through Serengeti National Park, followed by an afternoon departure to Karatu. Your overnight stay will be near the Ngorongoro Crater. The next morning, you’ll descend into the crater at dawn, as the animals are most active during the year. Central Serengeti National Park, the heart of Tanzania’s iconic Serengeti, is renowned for its vast savannahs and the dramatic Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the Seronera River, pursued by predators like lions and cheetahs. Home to the Big Five, it boasts over 500 bird species and acacia-dotted landscapes. The Seronera region’s year-round water sources ensure abundant wildlife, making it ideal for game drives and hot air balloon safaris. After breakfast, you'll head out on a game drive to Ngorongoro Crater, with lunch boxes in hand. Later, you'll be driven back to Arusha, marking the end of your safari.

Its 260 sq km floor hosts a dense concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rare black rhino).
