Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Upon arrival, you will be picked up at the airport or hotel and begin your safari to the Masai Mara National Reserve, a journey of approximately 5–6 hours through the scenic Great Rift Valley. You'll arrive in time for lunch at your safari lodge or camp, followed by an exciting afternoon game drive. As you venture into the Mara’s vast savannahs, keep your eyes open for the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino—along with cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and countless other wildlife. As the sun sets, you will return to your lodge for dinner and a restful night surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Full-Day Safari in Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll wake up early for a sunrise game drive, the best time to catch predators on the move. You'll explore the rolling plains and iconic acacia-dotted landscapes, searching for elephants, prides of lions, and elusive leopards. You'll dedicate another full day to exploring the Masai Mara, increasing your chances of spotting rare wildlife and witnessing fascinating animal interactions. You can choose to embark on an optional hot air balloon safari, floating over the golden plains at sunrise for breathtaking aerial views. You'll spend the day tracking wildlife, photographing the stunning landscapes, and soaking in the magic of the Mara. Whether it’s a playful herd of elephants or a cheetah on the hunt, every moment promises excitement. As evening approaches, you'll return to your lodge for a final night in the heart of the African wilderness.

Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast you will embark on an enroute drive to Lake Naivasha, a 3 hour journey. Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake surrounded by lush landscapes. Upon arrival, you will check in at your hotel and enjoy hot lunch, thereafter embark on a boat safari where you’ll glide past hippos and spot a variety of bird species, including fish eagles and kingfishers. Afterward, you'll visit Crescent Island till evening as the sun sets, a unique sanctuary where you can walk among freely roaming giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Later in the evening you will return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Lake Naivasha to Nairobi

You will enjoy your breakfast at 8 am in the morning. This will be followed by a short relaxation at the resort as you wait to journey back to Nairobi. Your journey back to Nairobi begins at 10 am. After checking out of the hotel you will have an option to visit the Hells gate, explore the beautiful park for 2 hours, see different wildlife animals and bird species as you wind up your Kenyan safari in style. At 2 Pm, you will be dropped off at the city hotel or Airport or alternatively take an optional city tour or Visit to girraffe manor as you wait for your evening flight.
