Driving from Johannesburg to Hazyview

We will depart from Johannesburg and drive to the Greater Kruger National Park, which takes approximately 5—6 hours. We expect to arrive at our camp or accommodation in the late afternoon.

In the afternoon, an optional sunset game drive is available in the Greater Kruger National Park. This drive lasts about 3 hours and is conducted in open vehicles, but it is at your own expense.

Full-day Game Drive in Kruger National Park

Today, we will start very early in the morning for a full day of game driving in the Greater Kruger National Park, hoping to spot the Big Five and other wildlife. Kruger National Park is the largest game park in South Africa and one of the largest in Africa, renowned for being the home of the Big Five. The park stretches approximately 360km (223mi) from north to south and around 70km (43mi) from east to west, bordering Mozambique on its eastern side. We will return to the lodge late afternoon at around 3:00pm.

Driving Back from Kruger National Park via Panorama Route to Johannesburg

After breakfast at the lodge, we will drive back from Kruger National Park to the Panorama Route, located at the foot of the Drakensberg Mountains in the northeastern part of the Mpumalanga Province. We will visit several attractions along the Panorama Route, including God's Window and the Blyde River Canyon. After our explorations, we will head back to Johannesburg.
