You will arrive in Nairobi, Kenya, where our representative will meet you and transfer you to your city hotel. Spend the day relaxing. If you arrive early in the morning, we have a choice of city tours and excursions. Enjoy dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant, and return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

After pick-up from your hotel, have an early start and drive to Amboseli National Park. Check in at your accommodation and have lunch. At 3:00 pm, head out for a game-viewing drive, where you will search for big elephant herds, lions, giraffes, and antelopes, among other wildlife. At sunset, head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Amboseli National Park Game Drives

You'll rise early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit. A packed lunch will be provided. An optional visit to a Maasai village can be planned after breakfast. The visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Despite its changing habitat, Amboseli National Park is possibly the best wildlife area in Africa to experience elephants at close range. Less harassed by poachers, elephants feeding and bathing in the swamps must form the highlights of any safari.

In the evening, relax at the lodge and have dinner.

Amboseli to Lake Naivasha

Depart Amboseli early in the morning after breakfast and check out. Arrive at your hotel in Naivasha for a late lunch. After check-in, head out for a tour of Hell's Gate National Park and have an optional bike ride. After a wonderful time, head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Naivasha to Masai Mara

Today, you'll have an early breakfast. Then, head to Lake Naivasha for a scenic boat ride and a walking safari on the "Out of Africa" Crescent Island. Here, you will take photos of giraffes, antelopes, zebras, and wildebeests. After a wonderful time, take a boat back to the mainland.

Drive to Masai Mara, where you'll arrive for a late lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing. Then, head to a local village for a chance to enjoy a cultural experience. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara Wildebeest Migration Experience

Embark on two full days of game viewing, following the migration. Search for the Big Five wildlife, spot the cats making kills and drive to the banks of the Mara River, where the action will occur. Witness the famous river crossing of the wildebeest, where crocodiles lie in wait. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the banks of the Mara River or in the open savannah under shade.

At sunset, after wonderful game drive experiences, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara to Nairobi

Today, after an early breakfast, check out and drive back into the Masai Mara for a half-day game experience, searching for animals not previously seen. You can also try to witness the river crossing if not previously successful.

You'll depart the Mara at midday and drive back to Nairobi with a stopover for lunch and shopping. Upon arrival, you'll be dropped off at the airport or city hotel.
