Day 1

Start early from Addis Ababa and head west towards Wenchi Crater Lake. On arrival, take in the breathtaking views of the volcanic lake surrounded by lush highlands. Begin your adventure with a scenic hike or horseback ride down to the lake, passing through picturesque farmlands and forests along the way.

Once at the lake, enjoy a boat trip to explore its islands, including a visit to the historic Wenchi Monastery. Take in the peaceful atmosphere, watch for local wildlife, and see the natural hot springs that make this place so unique.

After exploring, hike or ride back up to the crater rim to relax and soak in the panoramic views. Then return to Addis Ababa, arriving in the late afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
