Lodge To Lake Natron
Lake Natron is one of Tanzania’s most otherworldly destinations, known for its striking red-colored waters and remote, dramatic landscapes. Located in the north near the Kenyan border, it's a key breeding ground for lesser flamingos, which gather in huge numbers, painting the lake pink during the season. The area offers a unique adventure experience with opportunities to hike to Ngare Sero Waterfalls, explore the surrounding volcanic terrain, or even attempt the challenging climb of Ol Doinyo Lengai, an active volcano considered sacred by the Maasai. Lake Natron is perfect for travelers seeking raw, off-the-beaten-path nature and cultural encounters.
