Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its rich biodiversity and large herds of elephants. The park features a variety of landscapes, including open savannas, seasonal swamps, and the Tarangire River, which winds its way through the heart of the park. During your game drive, you may witness a lion stalking its prey or spot a leopard lounging in the trees above.

After your game drive, you will return to your lodge to relax, enjoy dinner, and settle in for your overnight stay.

Tarangire To Ngorongoro crater

The Ngorongoro Crater is the park’s main highlight—a massive, ancient volcanic caldera and the largest unflooded and unbroken one in the world. It spans about 20 kilometers in diameter, drops 600 meters deep, and covers roughly 300 square kilometers, making it one of nature’s most breathtaking wonders. During your visit, you’ll explore Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake located in the southwestern corner of the crater, known for attracting black rhinos, flamingos, hippos, and various other waterbirds.

You’ll enjoy a full-day game drive inside the crater. The game drive will end at 4:00 pm, after which we will drive approximately 45 minutes to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. We recommend setting out early in the morning to allow time to enjoy the lodge’s facilities, including the swimming pool and other amenities.

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at 7:00 am as your safari adventure comes to a close. Today, you will head to Lake Manyara National Park, beautifully situated at the base of the Great Rift Valley. Famous for its diverse scenery, the park is home to tree-climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, and a wide array of birdlife surrounding the alkaline waters of Lake Manyara. Enjoy a scenic game drive through lush forests and open savannahs.

After the game drive, you will continue to Arusha Airport for your return flight to Dar es Salaam.
