Your adventure begins with a 04h30 departure from Kigali, travelling through Rwanda's scenic countryside to Volcanoes National Park. Arrive at the Kinigi Park Headquarters in time for the mandatory 07h00 briefing, where park rangers will explain the trekking procedures, safety guidelines, and assign you to a habituated gorilla family based on your fitness level. At 08h00, begin your guided trek through the lush bamboo forests and volcanic slopes in search of the mountain gorillas. Trekking times vary depending on the gorillas' location, but the reward is an unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat. Afterwards, descend from the mountains and rejoin your guide before proceeding to a selected lodge for lunch and an opportunity to freshen up and clean your boots. Later, return to Kigali. If time permits, visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus before your hotel or airport drop-off. End of our services.
